This hidden gem has been recently renovated and offers plenty of charm for travelers and locals alike

I had a chance to take a tour of the newly-renovated Seven Gables Inn in Clayton. The inn has also recently joined the Marriott Hotels & Resorts Tribute Portfolio, making it the only Tribute hotel in the area. This cozy 32-room hotel is perfect for business travelers, staycations, and small and medium-sized events.
I had the opportunity to view three types of rooms , all that vary slightly. The furnishings are modern and the rooms are a good size.
This double room is spacious and boasts a mini-fridge, safe, and updated bathroom.

The hotel has around 25 staff members, which lends to the cozy inn feel. When you walk in the doors, you are transported to a calm oasis, reminiscent of European boutique hotels. A full-service complimentary breakfast is available daily for all overnight guests.
Separate shower and tub and the toilets include a bidet function.
The rooms aren’t the only thing that has been spruced up. The attached restaurant, SEVEN, (formerly known as Molly Darcy’s) has a wide range of American favorites, including the specials “Lost Legends” menu, which pays tribute to dishes from restaurants gone by in St. Louis. The restaurant also serves breakfast to the public seven days a week.

The courtyard is available for outdoor dining under a heated tent (with plenty of ventilation). This courtyard is also home to weddings and special events like wine, spirits, and cigar tastings.
